Jennifer joined Swift as a summer intern in 2023 while earning her law degree from the University of Calgary, and was called to the Alberta Bar in August of 2025. Between her work and her studies, Jennifer somehow managed to not only indulge in one of her many hobbies (reading the latest fantasy novel, testing out new recipes, or learning a new board game), but also volunteer as a mentor for Calgary’s Big Brothers Big Sisters Program.
For Jennifer, law has always been a calling rooted in service and community. Whether she is guiding first time buyers or experienced investors, her goal is to make each transaction feel seamless, informed, and fun! Paul has been practising law since 2015, providing clients with comprehensive guidance through legal matters. He holds the degrees of Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Juris Doctor and spent so much time at the university they hired him to teach classes in Communication and Culture. By the time Paul had accrued enough points at the University of Calgary Bookstore to earn his 20% Discount, he decided to become a lawyer and no longer haunts the bookstore aisles.
Paul’s affability dovetails perfectly with his experience assembling complex ideas, smoothing out the rough edges of difficult legal questions and making the process as worry-free as possible.

Pola joined Swift by dint of ingenuity and sheer chutzpah (moxie). She met Paul when she worked at a restaurant in Sunnyside. Pola was almost finished with a Bachelor of Arts in Policy Studies. Both Pola and Paul are garrulous, and Pola found out that Paul had his own law firm, and Paul found out that Pola needed an internship to satisfy her degree requirements. So Pola met with Paul and Angela and, in January of 2022, became their first official intern.
From there, Pola was hired on for the summer as a legal assistant, and she enjoyed working for Swift so much that she continued part time in the fall, and became a full-time employee in January of 2023. Since then, Pola has taken on the role of "minister-without-portfolio," also known as the Operations Manager, and has worked to cultivate the comfortable and professional culture of Swift LLP.
In her spare time, she enjoys supporting the local music and arts scene, creating art of her own, and curling up with a cozy cup of tea, her cat, and a fantasy novel.
Ramona joined the Swift LLP team in May 2024 as an Administrative Assistant and quickly realized she’d found her people. She says “our office is less of a "stuffy law firm" and more of a "slightly quirky work family", which suits me perfectly!” She loves helping keep things organized, supporting the team and making sure Swift’s clients feel comfortable and welcome from the moment they connect with the team!
When she is not at the office, her life revolves around the people (and things!) she loves the most. She is very close with her family, including her mom, brother, daughters, and her amazing 7 year old granddaughter! She also enjoys exploring nerdy markets and expos and being surrounded by art, nerdy things, and all sorts of wonderfully weird people.
